No spaces 5% off so choose whichever one suits your fancy let’s get off my teeth get training shoot your gun for real Black Powder Red Earth ocean of games so, the Black Powder Red Earth igg games. I’m about to get into is one of my favorite types of videos and those are setup videos why I like set a video so much is because there is so much that goes into how you want to set up your rifle or your carbine and that type of stuff and based on your body mechanics and how you’re built or your mission set and I type of stuff the entire setup of the rifle can change, there’s no you know good setup it just depends on what you do so what we have right here is a really interesting design now this was sent to me from the good old folks at black powder red earth. If you’re not familiar with black powder red earth shame on you they are a sick comic that talks about military stuff pretty realistic Black Powder Red Earth fitgirl rpack, I might be making a cameo a little bit there so no shame in that good friends with that guy but I’m not trying to sell you anything here the upper is on BCM with whom they are quite good friends as you know I’m a big fan of BCM uppers so we’ll talk a little bit about it about this particular upper but mostly about the accouterments and how it is set up now in any case like I said before all sent to me for free and all that type of stuff.

But we’re not specifically reviewing we’re just talking about this setup and why you might want to do something like this or against this now who actually did this setup who designed it well I can’t tell you who it is.But I can tell you that he has a way cooler job than me and he has killed way more people than me so he has a ton of experience Black Powder Red Earth pc download I think this is a really interesting and innovative set up kind of based on some of the experiences that he has had so let’s talk about why you may or may not want to set up your rifle quite like this all right so let’s start here I think we’re gonna start with the most interesting part of this entire setup and that is going to be the LaRue riser because, that is the heart of the design from there everything is kind of designed around this kind of idea so this idea is that by having this riser with a lower one-third optic in this case an EOTech exps model with able with the BDC that allows you to have your head in a more upright position during CQB so, room-clearing in that type of stuff now why does that matter well when you’re in those types of positions for long periods of time you can develop a lot of neck issues get really gets trained all that type of stuff that increase the stress course all that kind of stuff and then you’re gonna start throwing shots so by having your neck in a more upright position.

A more comfortable position that allows you to be more comfortable more alert as you’re going throughout the day and doing this type of stuff now this is all going to depend on your body mechanics and how you’re built in that type of stuff because there are some battle gnomes out there with no necks and no a lot of Marines like that Black Powder Red Earth fitgirl repack. There’s a lot of Air Force guys the giraffe necks like me so depending on that you might need a different height than any case the guy who did this seems to have a build a lot of soccer than me but about the same height but in any case the riser with the lower one-third mount allows my neck to be really upright during shooting and that makes it more comfortable for me another thing that’s really great about it is that if you’re shooting with night vision on you can very easily look through the optic with those night vision on so I’ve tried it with sentinels and also with PBS 31 s at PBS 15 s and it’s very simple because at lower 1/3 it is possible but having that extra height while looking through nods with this optic is really helpful so I’ve done quite a bit of night shooting with this and it’s been a pleasure to use a little riser in there now the Black Powder Red Earth torrent riser itself is 5/8 inch so just so you guys are aware of that height now to stretch the legs a little bit on design we also have an EOTech magnifier.

Now this particular magnifier is repower perfect right works pretty well I’m a fan of these magnifiers I’ve used them in the past it works well because this does have CDC on it that allows me to figure out my dope and where my ball drop is gonna be so again I’ve shot the sing out to around three hundred not really past that to be honest but um I don’t consider that was made to be shoot super super far but although it could it has a great barrel all that type of stuff this magnifier allows the optic to kind of stretch its legs now there is a problem and that is when you become, when you kind of make a design more specialized like this there are get there are some you know pros and cons of it pros of course what I mentioned the cons is that you’re gonna have a less kind of stable cheek weld because it’s getting kinda more towards the chin so when I shoulder this as you’ll see I’ve got kind of the chin wold gone there and now there’s no problem with that except that.If I’m trying to shoot long distance a good cheek weld really helps with stability at least for me so it’s gonna come down to a training issue so make sure that you train with this type of setup and that you’ve practiced making longer shots with that more kind of awkward cheek weld verse the more traditional absolute or lower one-third cheek weld that most people are used to just something that will throw out there so again it all comes down to a training issue. If you don’t actually use your gun if you don’t actually trainer that you’re not gonna ever be good at it so all these setups would be useless in that case so just a quick thought there because we have everything on a riser typical backup iron sights aren’t going to be effective so, the question always comes is that our backup iron sights are necessary and that’s a great question maybe not but at the same time they weigh very little and it’s a little bit of peace of mind.

So why not now because this is above the lower one-third kind of height ceiling that you typically see with optics excuse me with iron sights you’re not gonna be able to witness iron sights through this optic because of that the designer has opted to use backup 45-degree iron sights from Knight’s armament that’s armament to being my favorite company when it comes to iron sights that Geller works so these are really well-made they’re extremely low-profile they fit under everything so they work extremely well we’ll get some close-up shots there now they do work well now here’s the problem is that they are at Absolute height so typically when you roll over for not for an optic you might be a lower 1/3 Black Powder Red Earth fitgirl repack an absolute and so you roll over and so tiny bit of a change because you’re just rolling maybe a slight height change now coming off this riser combo onto those iron sights it’s a lot more of a change so, again it’s gonna come down to a training issue being able to use those effectively at varying distances so make sure that you train with them.

But in any case I’ve found that they’ve been extremely effective I’ve always been a fan of these particular set of 45-degree offsets and this is a perfect example of when to use 45-degree offset sites a lot of times I see people using them where they just have like an Black Powder Red Earth free download on the rail and they have tons of rail space but they just have 45-degree offsets or no no reason again if unless you don’t have the space you know do the 45 but if you have the space just do normal iron sights if you have like a normal set up just a quick aside there I see too many people using 45-degree offsets so those are the iron sights so get on them on doing that big fan of those let’s move up to the Black Powder Red Earth PC download.Right here so this handguard is a kmr alpha so that is a keymod handguard now a lot of people freak out when they hear ki ma they’re like oh my god ki mods the worst it failed em lock okay key mod is completely fine. There’s nothing wrong with key mod is em lock stronger yes but does that mean that key mod isn’t stronger that it isn’t suited to a variety of tasks no key mod is currently used in a variety of places smoking dudes so you guys focus on the wrong things most of the time Lucas from t-rex arms said, it pretty well key mod versa em lock who cares can you shoot pretty much that so focus on what matters and not what doesn’t matter so much so we have the keymod handguard now on the keymod handguard we have BCM rail panels so if you notice this particular setup doesn’t have a grip. There’s a reason for that it’s be able to switch between hands being will have different hand positions based on where the pressure pads are and all that type of stuff in any case this is also designed for a finger forward grip so a finger forward grip has been around for a long time some people like it some people don’t it’s kind of a variation of a c-clamp in a lot of ways.

It’s very effective it’s simply the pointer finger pointing towards the target when you have the gun up so again I like that grip personally I can’t have a problem.I tend to kind of revert to c-clamp on close shooting and stuff but the pointer forward grip is awesome so that’s what this particular design was set up for at least from what I’ve seen from the guy who set this up and how he typically grips this rifle so I’m moving up from there we get to this really interesting front setup right here so, let’s talk about it for a second first off we have a surefire Scout so great light big fan of it no problems there it is mounted at the three o’clock position and the reason for that is that because we have the 45-degree offsets we couldn’t get that in that closer position to the Steiner D ball which makes sense now up here with the center D ball.

The Co-insurance Clause

The Co-insurance Clause
The Co-insurance Clause

Of the more important clauses in current use, the one most frequently used, most severely criticized, most mis¬ understood, most legislated against, and withal the most reasonable and most equitable, is that which in general terms is known as the “co-insurance clause.”
Insurance is one of the great necessities of our business, social and economic life, and the expense of maintaining it should be distributed among the property owners of the country as equitably as it is humanly possible so to do.
Losses and expenses are paid out of premiums col¬ lected. When a loss is total the penalty for underinsurance falls where it properly belongs, on the insured who has elected to save premium and assume a portion of the risk himself, and the same penalty for underinsurance should by contract be made to apply in case of partial loss as applies automatically in case of total loss.
If all losses were total, liberality on the part of the insured in the payment of premium would bring its own reward, and parsimony would bring its own penalty; but the records of the leading companies show that of all the losses sustained, about 65%—numerically—are less than $100; about 30% are between $100 and total; and about 5% are total. The natural inclination, therefore, on the part of the public, particularly on the less hazardous risks, is to under¬ insure and take the chance of not having a total loss; and this will generally be done except under special conditions, or when reasonably full insurance must be carried to sustain credit or as collateral security for loans. There were several strik¬ ing illustrations of this in the San Francisco conflagration, where the amount of insurance carried on so-called fireproof buildings was less than 10% of their value, and the insured in such instances, of course, paid a heavy penalty for their neglect to carry adequate insurance.
Co-insurance operates only in case of partial loss, where both the insurance carried and the loss sustained are less than the prescribed percentage named in the clause, and has the effect of preventing one who has insured for a small percentage of value and paid a correspondingly small pre¬ mium from collecting as much in the event of loss as one who has insured for a large percentage of value and paid a correspondingly large premium. We have high authority for the principle,
“He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
and it should be applied to contracts of insurance. Rating systems may come, and rating systems may go; but, unless the principle of co-insurance be recognized and universally applied, there can be no equitable division of the insurance burden, and the existing inequalities will go on forever. The principle is so well established in some countries that the general foreign form of policy issued by the London offices for use therein contains the full co-insurance clause in the printed conditions.
The necessity for co-insurance as an equalizer of rates was quite forcibly illustrated by a prominent underwriter in an ad¬ dress delivered several years ago, in the following example involving two buildings of superior construction:
“A’S” BUILDING “B’S” BUILDING
Value $100,000 Value $100,000
Insurance 80,000 Insurance 10,000
Rate 1% Rate 1%
Premium received— Premium received—
one year, 800 one year, 100
No Co-insurance Clause No Co-insurance Clause
Loss 800 Loss 800
Loss Collectible 800 Loss Collectible 800
“B” pays only one-eighth as much premium as “A,” yet both collect the same amount of loss, and in the absence of co-insurance conditions both would collect the same amount in all instances where the loss is $10,000 or less. Of course, if the loss should exceed $10,000, “A” would reap his reward, and “B” would pay his penalty. This situation clearly calls either for a difference in rate in favor of “A” or for a difference in loss collection as against “B,” and the latter can be regulated only through the medium of a co-insurance condition in the policy.
At this point it may not be amiss incidentally to inquire why the owner of a building which is heavily encumbered, whose policies are payable to a mortgagee (particularly a junior encumbrancer) under a mortgagee clause, and where subrogation may be of little or no value, should have the benefit of the same rate as the owner of another building of similar construction with similar occupancy, but unencum¬ bered.
In some states rates are made with and without co- insurance conditions, quite a material reduction in the basis rate being allowed for the insertion of the 80% clause in the policy, and a further reduction for the use of the 90% and 100% clauses. This, however, does not go far enough, and any variation in rate should be graded according to the co-insurance percentage named in the clause, and this gradation should not be restricted, as it is, to 80%, 90% or 100%, if the principle of equalization is to be maintained.
Various clauses designed to give practical effect to the co-insurance principle have been in use in this country for nearly forty years in connection with fire and other contracts of insurance. Some of these are well adapted to the purpose intended, while others fail to accomplish said purpose under certain conditions; but, fortunately, incidents of this nature are not of frequent occurrence.
There are, generally speaking, four forms, which differ quite materially in phraseology, and sometimes differ in prac¬ tical application. These four clauses are: (1) the old co- insurance clause; (2) the percentage co-insurance clause; (3) the average clause; (4) the reduced rate contribution clause.
Until recently, underwriters were complacently using some of these titles indiscriminately in certain portions of the country, under the assumption that the clauses, although differently phrased, were in effect the same, but they were subjected to quite a rude awakening by a decision which was handed down about a year ago by the Tennessee Court of Civic Appeals. The law in Tennessee permits the use of the three-fourths value clause and the co-insurance clause, but permits no other restrictive provisions. The form in use bore the inscription “Co-insurance Clause,” but the context was the phraseology of the reduced rate contribution clause, and although the result was the same under the operation of either, the court held that the form used was not the co- insurance clause, hence it was void and consequently inop¬ erative. Thompson vs. Concordia Fire Ins. Co. (Tenn. 1919) 215 S.W. Rep. 932, 55 Ins. Law Journal 122.
The law of Georgia provides that all insurance companies shall pay the full amount of loss sustained up to the amount of insurance expressed in the policy, and that all stipulations in such policies to the contrary shall be null and void. The law further provides that when the insured has several policies on the same property, his recovery from any company will be pro rata as to the amount thereof.
About twenty years ago, the Supreipe Court of Georgia was called upon to decide whether under the law referred to the old co-insurance clause then in use, which provided
“that the assured shall at all times maintain a total insurance upon the property insured by this policy of not less than 75% of the actual cash value thereof . . . . and that failing to do so, the assured shall
become a co-insurer to the extent of the deficiency,”
was valid and enforceable, and it decided that the clause was not violative of the law. Pekor vs. Fireman’s Fund Ins. Co. (1898) (106 Ga. page 1)

The Co-insurance Clause
The Co-insurance Clause
The court evidently construed the clause as a binding agreement on the part of the insured to secure insurance up to a certain percentage of value, and virtually held that if the insured himself desired to take the place of another insurance company he was at liberty to do so as one way of fulfilling his agreement.

The Georgia courts, however, have not passed upon the validity of the reduced rate contribution clause in connection with the statutory law above referred to; but it is fair to assume that they will view the matter in the same light as the Tennessee court (supra), and hold that it is not a co-insurance clause, even though it generally produces the same result; that it contains no provision whatever requiring the insured to carry or procure a stated amount of insurance, and in event of failure, to become a co-insurer, but that it is simply a clause placing a limitation upon the insurer’s liability, which is expressly prohibited by statute. The fact that the insurers have labeled it “75% Co-insurance Clause” does not make it such.
It is, therefore, not at all surprising that the question is frequently asked as to the difference between the various forms of so-called co-insurance clauses, and these will be considered in the order in which, chronologically, they came into use.
Probably in ninety-nine cases out of one hundred there is no difference* between these clauses in the results obtained by their application, but cases occasionally arise where ac¬ cording to the generally accepted interpretation the difference will be quite pronounced. This difference, which will be hereinafter considered, appears in connecton with the old co-insurance clause and the percentage co-insurance clause, and only in cases where the policies are nonconcurrent.
The first of the four forms is the old co-insurance clause which for many years was the only one used in the West, and which is used there still, to some extent, and now quite generally in the South. Its reintroduction in the South was probably due to the Tennessee decision, to which reference has been made (supra). This clause provides that the insured shall maintain insurance on the property described in the policy to the extent of at least a stated percentage (usually 80%) of the actual cash value thereof, and failing so to do, shall to the extent of such deficit bear his, her or their pro¬ portion of any loss. It does not say that he shall maintain insurance on all of the property, and the prevailing opinion is that the co-insurance clause will be complied with if he carries the stipulated percentage of insurance either on all or on any part of the property described, notwithstanding the fact that a portion of said insurance may be of no assist¬ ance whatever to the blanket, or more general policy, as a contributing factor.
